Through My Eyes Sacred Canyon | Muda, Mulka & Truth

- Duration: 240 Minutes (approx.)
- Product code: PGAUPC
Extend your Sacred Canyon experience with Through My Eyes, a deeply personal and immersive cultural journey led by Adnyamathanha woman, Rehanna Coulthard.
This extended encounter begins with a warm Welcome to Yarta (Country) and a Smoking Ceremony, inviting spiritual cleansing and respectful connection before walking into one of the most significant cultural landscapes in the Flinders Ranges.
As you journey through Sacred Canyon, Rehanna interprets ancient Adnyamathanha petroglyphs carved thousands of years ago. These engravings are not just markings on stone — they are stories of ancestors, survival, law, land, and identity. While surrounded by towering ochre cliffs and river red gums, you’ll learn about cultural protocols, language, and enduring connection to Country.
The experience continues with open discussions in nature, seated in a creek bed or around a warm fire. Here, Rehanna shares living culture through honest conversation about history, healing, and the importance of truth-telling. On the return journey, you’ll travel back via Blinman South, where Rehanna shares her family’s powerful story of the Stolen Generations, speaking to loss of belonging, resilience, and the strength of cultural identity.
